One of the big points of emphasis at Forbidden Tokyo is that they don't use mosaics on their videos. At first I didn't know what that meant, but then it dawned on me that they must be talking about the censoring that you see in most hardcore videos produced in Japan. They don't allow on screen penetration over there, so you get a lot of blurring and it looks kind of silly. As you'll see on the tour and in the free trailers here they don't make use of such technology. They've also got an impressive stable of hotties. So beautiful Japanese girls and uncensored Japanese porn movies. Let's take a closer look.

Forbidden Tokyo has been online for less than six months, at least if their update schedule is to be believed. They add a new scene each week and there are 25 in total, which leaves them a week short of their six month anniversary. The latest update is always at the top of the page with a big picture and a link to the video download. Unfortunately, they only offer one picture from each scene and there is no description. Therefore you're left with no way of knowing what happens during the scene. In some cases you won't know if it's hardcore or solo before downloading it.

That's an oversight, and one that could have been easily rectified if they were to take the time to write up a quick description. A screen shot gallery would have been helpful as well. Most scenes are in fact Japanese hardcore, featuring a cute Japanese babe getting fucked hard. Many are filmed POV and a few I downloaded were making use of an off putting fish eye lens that seemed out of place. You can download an mpeg or WMV version of each scene, full length clip only, so an option with shorter clips would be a nice addition. Sadly, the highest resolution they offer is 400x300. This is particularly galling because they promise 640x480 on the tour. The difference between the two is significant.

The strength of Forbidden Tokyo is the quality of the girls and the genuine Japanese feel. First, the Japanese models they've hired are almost all gorgeous and they fuck with passion. The girls moan passionately as they're being boned and it enhances each scene. As to the second point, there's a difference between porn produced in Japan and porn produced in America. It's hard to put to words exactly what the difference is, but if you like Japanese porn then you'll like what they're doing here. It's remarkable actually.

400x300 videos aren't the end of the world, and given that you can run them at double size without much quality loss it should be enough to please most members. The most appealing thing about membership to Forbidden Tokyo is the nine bonus sites that come free with your membership. There are three other Asian themed sites as well as a tranny site, a Latina site, an interracial site and an anal site. All told you'll have access to more than 250 full length scenes, a number that grows with each daily update. Nevertheless the lower then promised movie quality and lack of screen shots or other info about the movies really hurts the rating of Forbidden Tokyo. The low price and great bonus sites make only up for a bit of this.
